First-Ever Burrito Vending Machine Comes to Los Angeles

First there were cupcakes out of a vending machine, now there are burritos?! Yup, you read that right. As gross as you might think that is, you can now have a custom burrito out of a vending machine. Only in LA.

According to Burritobox’s own website, they are the world’s first burrito kiosk. It reminds us of a RedBox movie vending machine, only it’s orange… and of course has burritos.

You can find the first Burrito box in the Mobile station located in West Hollywood at 8380 Santa Monica Blvd. A second one should be arriving at the 76 station in Century City around January 18th.

We haven’t had one yet, but apparently they are 100 percent natural burritos, having no hormones or antibiotics. And get this… there are cage-free eggs in their breakfast burritos.

You may be asking, how much are they? Only $3 plus tax. Try and pay that at a fast food chain or food truck. Sans McDonald’s of course, but those burritos are gross. Just sayin’.

According to the LA Times, There are even a few varieties you can pick: chorizo sausage with egg and cheese, shredded beef and cheese, roasted potato with egg and cheese, free-range chicken with beans and rice, and uncured bacon with egg and cheese.

Can you add sides to your burrito? Of course you can… for an extra fee. Use the touch screen to load up your burrito with sides like Tabasco, sour cream, and guacamole. When you’re done, your burrito will be dispensed within a minute.

What will they think of next?
